Webinar: The New Global Slavery Index – The numbers and their meaning for business

May 25, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm AEST

The numbers, methodology & implications for supply chain risk mitigation

The new Global Slavery index is launching on 24 May 2023, presenting the very best data available on the location and prevalence of modern slavery.

This long-awaited index will prove to be a game-changer in the fight against modern slavery. It will both empower businesses with enhanced insights into the way modern slavery occurs, and impose new expectations and responsibilities on them to improve and enhance their modern slavery processes, policies and training.

We’ll hear from experts as they take participants through these new numbers and the methodology behind them, to help answer the all-important question:

What does this new Global Slavery Index mean for businesses looking to address modern slavery risk in their operations and supply chains?

Experts from Fair Supply, WalkFree, and the International Organisation for Migration join GRC Solutions’ Adrian Phoon as they analyse and explain the numbers and discuss what they will mean for your business as you formulate your modern slavery policies.

In addition, Serena and Kim will also discuss recent developments to global modern slavery reporting obligations including the Modern Slavery Act passed in Canada and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.

We are proud to collaborate with our friends at FairSupply to bring you this webinar
