We are pleased to offer Australian schools this popular Introduction to Risk Management course. This course introduces teachers and staff to the concept and nature of risk.

Risk relates to a large range of school situations and this course uses a variety of concepts and scenarios in the education industry to aid learning.

Throughout this course, teachers and staff will learn about such concepts as Risk Awareness, Risk Acceptance, the Risk Lifecycle and the 3 Lines of Defence model. Written in plain and accessible English, and designed to be a visually engaging and interactive experience for the user, the course explains in practical terms how to apply Risk Management Tools to the education system’s processes.

This course has been developed by GRC Solutions in conjunction with David Tattum, founder of Protecht. Protecht is the leader in risk solutions of organisations across the globe.

Schools will face many future potential risks that will vary depending on the type of school activity but at the detailed level could stretch to many hundreds, if not thousands of risks.
