Our Community
Our people and our expert compliance solutions at work in the community.
Traditional Credit Union (TCU) is the only Indigenous-owned credit union in Australia.
Working in two worlds to deliver both employment opportunities and real financial services in remote indigenous communities, they provide:
- Essential banking services to First Nations people in remote areas of Northern Australia.
- Financial and digital literacy.
- Indigenous employment and training.
All financial institutions in Australia face a heavy regulatory burden, that could be insupportable for a small, low-margin, community-owned organisation like TCU. As a long time supporter, GRC Solutions gives TCU free access to all our financial services manuals and guides, training products, and other services.

Ronald McDonald House Charities: A Global Network of Hope
Ronald McDonald House Charities operate in over 60 countries around the world. They are a global non-profit organisation that provides support and accommodation to families of seriously ill children who need to travel far from home for medical treatment.
With the support of 350 staff and 4,000+ volunteers, RMHC Australia creates and supports programs that directly impact the health and wellbeing of over 46,000 children and families annually, including Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, and more.
Our team are proud to work with this great organisation to support their staff and volunteer training program. Even charities like RMHC must comply with regulations, such as those that cover child protection, privacy, whistleblowing, and work, health and safety.
We were at the RMHC Volunteers Conference in Sydney in June 2024 to show our appreciation to the volunteers (and hand out chocolates.)

Our team members at the 2023 Oz Harvest Community Cook Off
Our CEO, Julian Fenwick, is a passionate supporter of OzHarvest and 8-time participant in the Community Cookoff. Last year, he decided to pass the torch to our newly coined “OzHarvest Division.” If you were to ask Julian, “Why OzHarvest?”, he’d tell you that no child should arrive at school hungry. He’d also tell you that there’s no place for 7.6 million tonnes of food wastage each year in Australia – yes, this really happens here.
Want to help OzHarvest – here’s their site.
