Respect@Work: Is Your Organisation Ready to Respond? – Webinar

September 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Respect@Work reforms have sharpened expectations for how organisations prevent and respond to workplace sexual harassment, sex discrimination and victimisation. With positive duty obligations now requiring proactive, reasonable and proportionate steps, boards, senior leaders and operational teams need clear evidence that prevention, reporting, response and assurance controls are working in practice.

Join GRC Solutions and HRAOL for a practical one-hour webinar on what the law requires, what the first Fair Work Act case shows, and how organisations can build a clear 90-day roadmap for implementation, evidence and ongoing governance.

What you’ll learn:

  • Why organisations must act on workplace sexual harassment, including prevalence, harm and the cost of getting it wrong
  • What the Sex Discrimination Act, Fair Work Act and positive duty obligations require in practice
  • How to apply the Australian Human Rights Commission’s seven standards for meeting the positive duty
  • Governance roles for boards, management and assurance functions, including the evidence needed to demonstrate action
  • Practical first steps for assessing risk, closing gaps, training leaders and monitoring outcomes over the first 90 days

This session is designed for risk, compliance, legal, human resources, operations, complaints, governance and leadership teams who need to understand their organisation’s obligations and take practical steps to prevent and respond to workplace sexual harassment.
